Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Thought: want peace? God will give us peace in the middle of confusion if we do what His Word says… Pray, praise and expect God to do it without worry. Isn’t it funny how we can remember our first trip, our first place ride or first job all those things and yet we cannot remember the time we first realized that God answered our prayer, the first time we knew without a doubt that is what God who did that for us and that no one else could have done it better, the times we prayed and He answered… We tend to forget the things we should remember and remember the things we should be forgetting. Think about it.
Pray about all you need, all you want, all of your troubles all the while thanking Him for the many victories we have already had and you will begin to get peace as God would have it. It’s not His will for us to worry, it’s a trick from the enemy and you need to know today that God does not want anything but the best for us and He is willing to help us if we are willing to surrender to His will.
